Leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Digital Twin technologies, our platform integrates and analyzes a multitude of data sources, thereby facilitating the identification and management of forest risks. This approach enables efficient monitoring, optimized management, as well as wildfire prediction and control through real-time detection and simulation
Create accurate 3D geospatial models of forest areas by integrating time series IoT data, drone imagery, and forest parameters to simulate and monitor environmental conditions in real-time
Continuously monitor key environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, and air quality using a network of IoT sensors and drones to assess forest health and detect anomalies.
Utilize AI algorithms and real-time data from various sources to identify early signs of wildfires and predict their potential spread and evolution for timely intervention.
Harnessing the power of AI and real-time data, our platform transforms waste management by detecting waste accumulation and facilitating timely interventions for a cleaner, more sustainable future.

ABOUT US
Dryads is a cooperation project between the SCAN Laboratory (https://scan.di.uoa.gr/) and the Ministry of Environment and Energy (https://ypen.gov.gr/), funded by ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability, with support from Google.org. Dryads is an AI-powered platform to manage forest resilience and mitigate climate change impacts. Addressing Greece’s wildfire risks, Dryads uses continuous multimodal sensing to extract microclimate profiles, identify anthropogenic risk factors and sources of high environmental risk to enable early wildfire detection, evolution forecasting and assessment. Dryads also supports risk prevention and vulnerability management for forests and peri-urban areas.
