We recently completed the final technical review of the Dryads Project, supported by the ICLEI Europe Action Fund and Google.org.
We demonstrated our AI models for wildfire and smoke detection, illegal-waste detection, and wildfire evolution forecasting based on spatio-temporal perception.
A central part of the review was the Digital Twin, a realistic 3D environment that enables physics-based fire-spread simulations under different ignition, weather and vegetation conditions.
We also presented the Dryads platform at the Municipality of Vari-Voula-Vouliagmeni, highlighting its potential to support civil-protection preparedness, training and decision-making through realistic what-if scenarios.
